Lalit Hari Rajkiya Ayurvedic College & Chikitsalaya, Pilibhit — देश के सबसे पुराने Ayurvedic colleges में से एक है। 1899 में इसकी स्थापना Late Sahu Lalita Prasad और उनके छोटे भाई Late Sahu Hari Prasad द्वारा दान की गई भूमि पर हुई थी, जिसका उद्देश्य Sanskrit और Ayurveda की शिक्षा प्रदान करना था। College का नाम इन्हीं दोनों दानदाताओं — "Lalita Prasad" और "Lit Hari Prasad" — के नाम को जोड़कर रखा गया।
आरंभ में इस college में तीन वर्षीय Vaidya Bhushan (Ayurveda Shastri) और फिर दो वर्षीय Vaidya Raj degree दी जाती थी। समय के साथ यह degree DIMS, AMBS और अंततः वर्तमान BAMS में परिणत हुई।
1939 में college administration ने इसे पूर्ण रूप से Ayurveda college के रूप में चलाने का निर्णय लिया। 1959 में Uttar Pradesh State Government ने college का प्रबंधन अपने हाथ में लिया। 1971 में यह Kanpur University से affiliated हुआ और 10 October 1974 को इसे पूरी तरह Government College का दर्जा मिला।
Pilibhit के घने जंगल — जो Shorea robusta (Sal) और सैकड़ों औषधीय वनस्पतियों से भरे हैं — इस college को Dravyaguna (medicinal plant science) research के लिए एक अद्वितीय advantage देते हैं। यही कारण है कि 1986 में यहाँ Dravyaguna में Post Graduate program शुरू किया गया।
